Elicit Theatre Company's work is informed by professional performance, writing, community engagement and lived experience.
Founder Sharron Spice has worked extensively as an actress, writer, director, author and youth worker, using creativity both as an art form and as a means of engaging with important social issues.
Her work has explored subjects including Universal Credit, female friendship and solidarity, Windrush, domestic violence, serious youth violence and the experiences of young people.
Sharron's community work has included engagement with young people and organisations including the Trussell Trust, while her contribution to tackling serious youth violence led to an invitation to 10 Downing Street in recognition of her work with young people.
Her creative work therefore brings together performance, storytelling, community engagement and a determination to create meaningful conversation and positive change.
