Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to enjoy our work — online and in the room. This page sets out what we have done so far and how to tell us when something falls short.

This website
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Steps taken include:
- Semantic HTML, landmark regions and a clear heading structure on every page.
- Sufficient colour contrast across text and interface elements.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, including a visible focus indicator.
- Meaningful alternative text on photography and decorative imagery marked appropriately.
- Responsive layouts that scale to small screens and high zoom levels.
Known limitations
We are an independent company and continually iterating. Some historical archive material may not yet have full image descriptions or transcripts. We are working through the archive and welcome reports of anything that is hard to use.
Our productions
Where possible we work with venues to provide accessible performances (relaxed performances, captioned or BSL-interpreted shows). Please contact us in advance and we will do our best to support your visit.
Tell us
If you have trouble using any part of this site or accessing one of our productions, please email hello@elicittheatre.co.uk with a description of the problem and we will respond within five working days.
